We are seeking a talented and motivated Head Chef to lead the kitchen brigade at our clients high-volume banqueting venue in Gretna.About the Role:As Head Chef, you will take full control of kitchen operations, delivering exceptional food for weddings, events, and private functions. You will lead a committed team, manage all aspects of food preparation and presentation, and ensure the highest standards of hygiene, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.Key Responsibilities:Oversee all kitchen operations for events, banquets, and weddings

Design seasonal and bespoke menus to suit diverse events and clientele

Lead, motivate, and train a team of chefs and kitchen assistants

Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations

Manage kitchen budgets, stock control, and supplier relationships

Maintain high levels of quality and consistency in all dishes served

What Were Looking For:Proven experience as a Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef in a high-volume, banqueting or events setting

Strong leadership and team management skills

Excellent organisational and time-management abilities

Creative flair and a passion for quality, seasonal food

Food Safety Level 3 certification (or equivalent)
