Their shining recommendations and growth are shown through the many accreditations and construction industry awards.We are seeking an experienced Senior Site Manager to join the senior management team on a 50m new build large-scale warehouse and distribution facility in Bristol. The role involves managing day-to-day site operations, monitoring project progress, proactively resolving on-site issues, and coordinating closely with the project team and stakeholders to ensure seamless and efficient delivery. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and a proactive, solution-focused approach to ensure the successful, on-time, and within-budget completion of a high-quality facility.SMSTSCSCS CardProven history of working on large scale new build / refurbishments in the industrial sector with values in excess of 20mEstablished background within the industry with at least 5 years of experience working in a similar position with a leading construction contractor or subcontractorEffective time managementQuality and risk managementUnderstanding of construction laws and regulationsA solid understanding of construction materials, methods, and techniquesStrong expertise in planning, scheduling, and coordinating complex construction projectsQuality inspections / snaggingDevelop and manage project schedulesChairing and participating in project meetingsConduct inspections and address any issues that ariseEnsure construction activities adhere to legal requirementsAddress client concerns and ensure satisfaction with project progressMaking certain all necessary permits and inspections are obtained and documentedMaintain compliance with legal and regulatory requirements throughout all construction operationsEngage with clients to address issues and ensure their expectations are met throughout the projectMaintain detailed project records, including daily logs, progress reports, and compliance documentationCoordinate and manage the assignment of labour, materials, and equipment to meet project requirementsCoordinate team activities, provide leadership, and ensure alignment with the project''s strategic objectivesOversee strict adherence to health and safety regulations and company policies, fostering to a safe work placeMonitor project progress and implement schedule adjustments as needed to ensure alignment with project objectivesSupervise all aspects of site operations to guarantee the project is completed according to the established timeline, stays within the allocated budget, and adheres to the specified quality standardsUndertake a diverse range of projects across the UK with an award-winning contractorJoining a company that places a strong focus on ongoing learning and professional development growthJames Shorte (Associate Director) or Emily O''Grady (Executive Senior Resourcer) at Caval - (phone number removed)
