Join a highly respected and sought-after in-house pensions team where your expertise will be valued, challenged, and celebrated — all on a rewarding 12-month fixed-term contract.This is a fantastic opportunity to bring your DB and DC scheme expertise into an environment where your work directly supports members and contributes to the smooth running of a well-managed pension scheme.With a hybrid working model requiring just one day per week in the office, this role offers the perfect balance of professional challenge, flexibility, and purpose.What makes this role stand out?In-house opportunity: Work on one established scheme with depth and consistency – no juggling multiple clients or projects.Hybrid working: Enjoy the structure of weekly in-office collaboration with the freedom of remote flexibility.Team culture: Join a supportive and collaborative team that takes pride in delivering high-quality service to its members.Your responsibilities will include:Processing both automated and manual calculations for Defined Benefit (Final Salary, Career Average, Cash Balance) and Defined Contribution scheme members – including retirements, transfers, deaths, and leavers.Managing your own caseload to meet service level agreements and quality standards.Liaising with the Administration Manager on complex or sensitive cases.Authorising and checking the work of other pension administrators.Handling regular monthly tasks and supporting payroll processing deadlines.Offering practical support to team members and dealing with member queries via phone and email in a friendly, professional manner.Conducting one-to-one member appointments to discuss retirement options.Supporting general administration, including resolving queries via the member portal and other inbound communications.What we’re looking for:Strong experience administering both DB and DC pension schemes.A good understanding of pensions legislation and scheme governance.Accuracy, attention to detail, and the ability to manage your own workload.How to ApplyTo apply for this position, please send a copy of your CV to hayley@branwellford.co.uk including the job reference number.To find out more or for a confidential chat to discuss any other roles, please call us directly on 01279 859000; we would be delighted to speak with you.
