Infor SunSystems Administrator

Infor SunSystems Administrator position with an end-user in London. The role involves delivering BAU SunSystems administration and supporting major project work, with front line support, maintenance, and development of Infor Sun Systems and associated products (Bank Reconciliation, QandA, Data lake, interfaces), supporting the Finance team. The role will lead Infor Sunsystems automation within the team and provide robust maintenance support while ensuring a high level of financial control.
Responsibilities
Support, maintain, and develop Sun Accounts and ancillary products.
Provide support to business transformation projects and group technology-led change projects.
Support current integrations and deliver future integration with 3rd party systems for business implementations.
Write and rebuild Infor QandA reporting.
Support and train local and wider business in the use of Sun Accounts.
Assist and support the team in provision of Finance systems (Sun Accounts and modules, system).
Provide first line support for Sun Accounts users.
Act as point of contact to ensure successful issue resolution and update customers according to agreed service level agreements.
Comply with best practice financial controls for finance systems, ensure coherence with group security and Data Governance policies, and facilitate/respond to audit reviews.
Develop and maintain existing processes requiring SQL or VBA expertise.
Be the team representative liaising with Group Technology on technical issues (Interface/Data Lake/SQL/Server/Database).
Responsible for regular BAU tasks (data loads, reconciliations, database maintenance).
Coordinate and provide expert guidance to projects and new developments in Sunsystems and processes.
Ensure SunSystem support processes and controls are documented and shared within the team.
Recommend improvements to tools, systems, and processes.
Coordinate annual audit user reviews for Sun systems.
Provide basic training/instruction to business users and colleagues.
Support the Finance Systems Accountant and team with ad-hoc tasks.
Role Requirements
3+ years of experience with SunSystems – including both BAU support and project delivery
Experience in SunSystems V6.4 and SunSystems Cloud Edition
QandA skills to advanced level
Experience with Sun functionality including Fixed Assets, Corporate Allocations
SunSystems administration experience covering maintenance of static data, business unit and ledger setup administration, user manager, Transfer Desk
Thorough understanding of the Sun structure (LA codes / CoA)
Experience of bank reconciliation software/modules
Experience of handling integrations to and from Sun
Understanding of data structures and ability to extract and use data to drive key strategic decisions, including producing insightful analysis
Financial controls and an appreciation for financial/management accounting
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Preferred but not essential
Experience of IBM Planning Analytics (TM1)
Medium to advanced VBA skills
Medium to advanced SQL skills
Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, Access and PowerPoint)
Aptitude for business IT and management information
Financial services background desirable
Experience of Proactis procurement system
