Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer (Days Only)

Salary: -43,500 per annum

Hours: Monday - Friday, 08:00 - 17:00 (No Weekends / No Nights)

Are you a maintenance professional looking for a stable, "days-only" role in a clean manufacturing environment? We are a specialist food producer looking for a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to keep our production lines running at peak performance.

This isn''t a heavy industrial role involving greasy gearboxes; instead, you''ll focus on the precision and efficiency of high-speed conveyors and automated systems.

You will be the go-to person for maintaining our facility''s technical health. Your day-to-day will focus on:

• System Maintenance: Primary focus on the upkeep and repair of various conveyor systems and sorting equipment.

• Electrical Troubleshooting: Using your PLC knowledge to diagnose faults, monitor inputs/outputs, and get lines back up and running quickly.

• Reactive & Planned Work: Balancing urgent breakdown repairs with scheduled preventative maintenance to ensure zero downtime.

• Safety & Standards: Maintaining a high level of hygiene and safety compliance essential for a food manufacturing site.

We need a technician who is technically sound, detail-oriented, and qualified to the following standards:

• Qualified: You hold a Level 3 NVQ or a completed Apprenticeship in an Engineering discipline.

• PLC Familiar: You are comfortable plugging in or navigating PLC interfaces to troubleshoot logic and electrical issues.

• Conveyor Expertise: Experience with belt tracking, rollers, and automated drive systems.

• Reliable: Someone who thrives in an 8-to-5 environment and takes ownership of the workshop and production floor.
