This role is being offered on a Temp-to-Perm basis, with the option to go straight to Permanent for the right person.You''ll work closely with the Finance Manager and Finance Director, playing a key role in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting the smooth running of the finance function.The RoleYou''ll support the Sales, Purchase and General Ledgers, ensuring suppliers are paid on time, customer accounts are managed effectively, and financial data is accurate, compliant and up to date.Key ResponsibilitiesCreating and maintaining supplier and customer accountsProcessing purchase and sales invoices, credit notes and manual entriesSetting up credit limits and supporting credit checksReconciling supplier statements and resolving discrepanciesArranging approval and processing of invoices for paymentHandling supplier and customer queries via phone and emailProducing reports on overdue accounts, debtors and payment patternsSupporting mid-month and month-end payment runs (UK and foreign payments)Assisting with credit control and customer queriesSupporting audit preparation and statutory requirementsProviding general finance and administrative support to the teamAbout YouPrevious experience in a finance or accounts-based roleConfident working with invoices, reconcil
