The Chef Manager is responsible for overseeing the culinary operations within the school, ensuring high-quality food preparation, maintaining sanitation standards, and managing kitchen staff. This role involves menu planning, inventory management, cost control, and ensuring customer satisfaction through exceptional food service.

As our ideal Chef Manager you will
:-Have excellent craft skills and the ability to manage your own kitchenHave proven experience of managing, training and leading a teamHave a proven track record of continually improving standardsBe passionate about food with excellent culinary skills and a great eye for detailHave financial and budget awarenessHave the ability to understand and complete daily all relevant food and health and safety compliance books
There is an after-school club on site serving 80 children, and this role will be expected to cover this service on some of the days, to be shared with the second Chef
