A vibrant secondary school in Islington is seeking a passionate and resilient Graduate Behaviour Mentor to join their pastoral support team. This role is ideal for someone considering a career in education, social care, or youth justice, and offers the chance to make a real difference in the lives of young people.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide 1:1 and group mentoring for students who need additional behavioural and emotional support
* Help develop and implement behaviour management strategies alongside the pastoral team
* Encourage positive attitudes towards learning and help students build resilience
* Act as a trusted adult and role model, supporting students in overcoming barriers to education
* Work closely with teachers, parents, and external agencies where needed
Requirements:
* Graduate with strong interpersonal and communication skills
* Experience working with young people in schools, youth work, or mentoring settings
* Ability to remain calm and professional in challenging situations
* Empathetic, patient, and motivated by helping students achieve their potential
