Cover Supervisor Specification

We are currently seeking enthusiastic and confident Cover Supervisors for full-time and part-time opportunities across a range of Secondary Schools in the Birmingham area.

To be considered, you must have prior experience working with students in an educational setting - ideally in a secondary school - and be confident managing whole classes using set lesson plans in the absence of the class teacher.

• Experience working with secondary-age students (KS3 - KS4 essential, KS5 desirable)
• Strong classroom presence and confident behaviour management skills
• Ability to engage and motivate students aged 11-16
• Must be flexible, reliable, and committed to delivering high-quality classroom support
• A background in education, coaching, youth work or tutoring is advantageous
• Safeguarding Level 1 trained (we can assist with this)
• Must have a valid, enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one)
