We are assisting in the recruitment for a Head Chef to join this independent group who have circa 20 managed houses in their estate. This venue is situated in a popular village on the outskirts of Wrexham. It has 12-bedrooms and offers a set menu of pub classics. The venue as a steady trade, generating circa 15k per week and has a kitchen team of 5 chefs, we are looking for someone to take control of the day-to-day management of the kitchen, working closely the General Manager and ensuring consistency over the food menu, your role will include: Staff management of the team, including scheduling rota''s, recruiting and training team members, ensuring team well-being and providing support and guidance Working closely with the General Manager and Front of House team to ensure a smooth transition between back of house and front of house Reviewing and preparing bookings, including any functions or special occasions Complying with company guidelines and ensuring consistency across dishes that leave the kitchen Resolve any complaints in a professional manner Ensure the kitchen area
