Laboratory Analyst – Bristol

Salary: £25,000 – £26,000

Hours: Monday–Friday, 9:00–17:00 (4:30pm finish on Fridays)

Additional: Closed over Christmas



If you are looking for your first role in a laboratory environment and have a genuine interest in science, this position is an excellent starting point. You will join a small, supportive team who will provide full training, including funding for your BOHS P401 qualification.



 

Main Duties

• 
  Sample Preparation — preparing and organising materials for analysis

  Laboratory Testing — carrying out routine checks on samples and recording results accurately
  
  
  

• 
  Quality Control — ensuring all testing meets required standards and procedures
  
  
  

• 
  Data Entry — inputting results into internal systems with strong attention to detail
  
  
  

• 
  Equipment Maintenance — keeping the laboratory clean, safe, and assisting with basic equipment care
  
  
  

• 
  Team Collaboration — supporting colleagues to ensure smooth daily operations
  
  
  

• 
  Attention to Detail — ability to follow procedures accurately

  Organisational Skills — managing samples, documentation, and workflow effectively
