A leading Tier 2 Main Contractor with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality RC frame residential new builds across the UK is seeking two experienced Project Directors to join their growing London-based team.

About the Role:

As Project Director, you will be a key figure in the successful delivery of large-scale residential schemes, taking full ownership from pre-construction through to completion. This is a hands-on leadership role requiring a deep understanding of both technical delivery and front-end project involvement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the full project lifecycle including design management, commercial oversight, tender involvement, and on-site delivery.

• Chair and lead design team meetings, ensuring coordinated and buildable solutions.

• Work collaboratively with internal commercial and technical teams to drive value and manage risk.

• Oversee and influence programme planning, procurement, and stakeholder communication.

• Ensure high standards of health, safety, quality, and compliance across the board.

• Represent the contractor professionally with clients, consultants, and supply chain partners.

Requirements:

• Proven track record as a Project Director or Senior Project Leader on major residential RC frame projects in the UK.

• Strong design management background with the confidence to lead design meetings and coordinate design resolution.

• Broad construction knowledge, able to get involved in all aspects of a project from pre-construction to delivery.

• Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills.

• London-based or willing to travel within London and occasionally to other UK sites.
