Field Service EngineerSalary: 40,000- 45,000 + OvertimeLocation: ReadingApplications are invited from experienced Field Service Engineers to support the installation, servicing, maintenance, and commissioning of a broad range of security equiptment.Candidate ProfileThe successful applicant should ideally possess:Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical drawings (full product-specific training provided).Full UK driving licence.Ability to work independently while also contributing effectively within a team environment.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Electrical and mechanical engineering experience.Fault-finding, repair, installation, and commissioning experience.Experience carrying out site surveys.Good customer-facing and customer service skills.Essential RequirementsApplicants must:Be physically fit due to the practical demands of the role.Be capable of passing security clearance procedures.Have a flexible, positive, and proactive attitude.Be willing to participate in out-of-hours call-out support.Desirable Skills and ExperienceThe following would be advantageous but are not essential:3-phase electrical experience and/or 18th Edition qualification.Health and Safety certifications or training.Welding qualifications or practical welding experience.Hydraulic, pneumatic, or fluid systems experience.Previous experience working with automated gates, barriers, blockers, or similar equipment.Additional InformationOccasional overseas travel may be availab
