Project Quantity Surveyor – Civil Engineering

Location: Staines

Please note: This role will require travel to Suffolk 2 days per week, with accommodation provided and all travel expenses covered.

We’re working with a well-established main contractor to recruit a Project Quantity Surveyor for their growing team in Staines.

This is a great opportunity to join a business delivering a range of civil engineering and infrastructure projects, where you’ll take ownership of the commercial aspects from project start through to final account.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing the commercial performance of projects from inception to completion
• Preparing and managing valuations, variations, and final accounts
• Producing cost reports and CVRs
• Working closely with operational and project teams
• Managing subcontractor procurement and accounts
• Ensuring projects are delivered within budget and contractual requirements

What We’re Looking For

• Experience as a Project Quantity Surveyor or Quantity Surveyor
• ESSENTIAL: Background in civil engineering or infrastructure projects
• Experience working for a main contractor
• Strong knowledge of NEC contracts
• Ability to manage projects independently
• Strong commercial awareness and communication skills
