The Role As an SEMH LSA, you will: Provide 1:1 and small group support for students with SEMH needsSupport pupils with emotional regulation, behaviour management, and engagement in learningImplement positive behaviour strategies and de-escalation techniquesBuild strong, trusting relationships with pupils who may display challenging behaviourWork closely with teachers, SENCOs, and pastoral teams to support EHCP targetsPromote a safe, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment The Ideal Candidate We are looking for someone who: Has experience supporting SEMH, ASD, or challenging behaviour (school, PRU, AP, youth work, or care background welcomed)Is calm, patient, and emotionally resilientHas strong communication and behaviour management skillsIs passionate about making a positive impact on young people''s livesHolds (or is willing to apply for) an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service What We Offer Competitive daily rates or salary (depending on experience)Ongoing CPD and training opportunitiesA supportive and experienced pastoral and SEN teamOpportunity to gain valuable experience in SEMH and SEN education I
