Overview

Location: Manchester Area, United Kingdom. We’re looking for an Electrical Project Engineer to oversee site electrical installations from surveys and design support through to commissioning and handover. This role involves working closely with design teams, project managers, clients, and subcontractors to ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to the highest standards.Responsibilities

Carry out site surveys and support electrical design developmentOrganise and coordinate resources with project management teamsManage project risk registers and ensure timely issue resolutionMonitor subcontractors to ensure installation quality and programme complianceTrack and report site progress using MS Project, including resource allocationDevelop and adapt designs during construction, feeding back into design teamsProvide updates on progress, risks, and dependencies to programme managersSupport accurate project costing by working with commercial teamsQualifications

Proven experience in electrical installation, design support, and commissioningStrong track record coordinating subcontractors and multidisciplinary teamsSkilled in project tracking and reporting (Microsoft Project)Understanding of quality standards, health and safety, and risk managementSMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) qualificationDetails
