Quantity Surveyor required for a Civil Engineering Contractor based nr Warrington A well-established Civil Engineering Contractor is seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to take commercial lead on a portfolio of Infrastructure and Civils projects across the region.This role offers autonomy, long-term career stability, and the chance to shape commercial strategy on technically challenging schemes.Key Responsibilities:Taking full commercial responsibility across multiple civil engineering projectsManaging cost control, forecasting, CVRs and monthly reportingPreparing and negotiating contracts, variations and claimsManaging subcontract procurement, appointments and performanceOverseeing valuations, payments and final accountsWorking closely with operational teams to ensure accurate cost managementSupporting junior commercial staff and contributing to wider commercial planningEnsuring compliance with contract conditions and company proceduresExperience and Skills Required:Strong background as a QS/Senior QS within Civil Engineering (Infrastructure, Highways, Drainage, Structures, Earthworks or similar)Thorough understanding of NEC contractsExcellent commercial awareness and a proven track record of managing project financesStrong negotiation, communication and stakeholder-management skillsAbility to work independently while collaborating effectively with delivery teamsHigh attention to detail and strong analytical capabilityWhat''s on Offer:Competitive salary and comp
