Are you a dynamic and experienced Registered Care Manager ready to lead a dedicated team and help shape the future of a truly special home care agency?

My client is a well-established and growing private home care agency, proud to be CQC-rated "Good" and committed to delivering exceptional care. They currently provide approximately 500 hours of care per week and are embarking on an exciting journey to innovate their services.

This is a unique opportunity to work directly with the owner, a practicing GP who is currently acting as the Registered Manager. He is passionate about integrating health with social care and is keen to grow the business in truly innovative ways. They are actively moving towards technology-enabled care, offering a proactive visiting service with visits on demand, and a flexible service that adapts to clients' developing needs.

Set in a bright modern office, in beautiful surroundings, this is the perfect role for a proactive leader who shares this vision and wants to be a key player in the next phase of growth. 

Key Responsibilities of the Registered Care Manager:-

  • Lead, motivate, and manage the office and care teams, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
  • Ensure the agency maintains its "Good" CQC rating and works towards achieving an "Outstanding" rating.
  • Oversee all aspects of care delivery, quality assurance, recruitment, training, and client management.
  • Drive business growth and development within a mostly exclusively private client base, aligned with the owner's vision for innovative care models.
  • Create and embed new systems and processes to improve efficiency and scalability, including the shift to technology-enabled and proactive care.

Experience and skill set of the Registered Care Manager:-

  • Proven Leadership: A current or previous Registered Manager with a strong track record of CQC compliance and business growth. You will be someone who commands respect and inspires confidence through your integrity and expertise.
  • A Strategic Mindset: Experience in creating, implementing, and embedding robust operational systems and processes. You will be key in developing a comprehensive management handbook, which has the potential to evolve into a franchise manual.
  • Technical Proficiency: A good working knowledge of Microsoft products is essential. Experience with Access Care Management software is highly desirable.
  • A Developer of People: A commitment to nurturing talent and empowering the existing Care Manager to reach her full potential and take on a leadership role herself.
  • A Collaborative Communicator: A good communicator who is proactive, open, and excited to work with a dedicated team to build a truly exceptional agency.
  • A Compassionate, forward-thinking leader: A passion for excellence in home care.
  • Full eligibility to live and work in the UK without restriction.

An opportunity of hybrid working may be possible after a qualifying period.

Please note due to the rural location of this role, candidates will be required to have their own means of transport.
