CormacDirect message the job poster from CormacWe are looking to recruit an Apprentice Quantity Surveyor to join our team of Professional Quantity Surveyors within the Commercial Team at Cormac.You must be keen to pursue a career in Quantity Surveying, ideally with some quantity surveying experience, although this isn’t essential.You must be hardworking, keen, meticulous and professional and either already have a degree or willing to undertake a degree course in Quantity Surveying.Apprentices will follow the Level 6 Chartered Surveyor Apprenticeship Standard.Please view apprenticeship standard; Chartered surveyor (degree) / Skills EnglandDuties include (but are not limited to):Assist with the company’s Quantity Survey monthly proceduresTo assist the Commercial Team with the following;The monthly cost/value reconciliation (CVR) reporting in accordance with current process including cost tracker and income/contribution monthly profiles.The management of the payment processes with clients ensuring applications for payment are submitted and tracked in accordance with agreed payment schedules.The preparation of compensation events/variations.The compilation of subcontract orders and to attend pre-contract meetings.The accurate measurement of subcontract works.The management of subcontract accounts including issuing of subcontract payment certificates.To be aware of and adhere to applicable rules, regulations, legislation and procedures i.e. Data Protection, Health and Safety, Equality and Diversity, company policies.The management of clients budgets and reporting.What we’re looking for:As an Apprentice employee for Cormac you will have a passion for engineering.You will be committed to completing a level 6 Surveying Technician apprenticeship and continuing your personal development.You will have a positive outlook and enjoy working and passionate about surveying.You will be trustworthy, dependable and work well in a team.You will be able to communicate well with your team, your employers, tutors and the public.You will be safety conscious, have a strong awareness of the health and safety of both yourself and others.You will be resilient, adaptable and keen to learn and complete your apprenticeship.The ability to travel locally and work at different locations.A full UK Driving LicenceTo find out more information please click on the Role Profile.Our offer to you:Contract:
