Operations Manager Leeds £50,000 - £60,000 + Profit Share (OTE £60,000 - £90,000) + Other Benefits 45 Hours Per Week: with site operational from Monday 5am - Friday 6pm. We have an amazing opportunity that has become available with one of our leading Trade Distributor clients who are looking for an experienced Operations Manager to lead their flagship distribution hub team in Leeds. The role is to lead a team of managers in overseeing the efficient operation of their warehouse facility, running the daily operations of the warehouse including Goods Inwards and the Transport team who supply a number of other national and independent customers. The type of character we are looking for is someone who is dominant and ready to get after it. A leader who walks the floor and doesn''t take any BS, is confident, has a presence and leads their team with authority. The successful person will also be confident in managing people and making the necessary changes in the team if needed to drive the business forward. Responsibilities: - Lead warehouse team, providing guidance and support for daily tasks. - Monitor profit and loss statements to ensure cost-effective warehouse management. - Utilise Continuous Improvement methodologies to enhance warehouse efficiency. - Oversee transportation management systems to coordinate inbound and outbound logistics. - Maintain high standards of Health and Safety compliance ensuring that safety regulations and best practices within the warehouse are met. -
