With a new office and base opening in North London (Waltham Abbey), GRW Talent''s client is a world leader in door opening solutions. They design, manufacture, supply, install, and maintain automatic swinging, sliding, and revolving pedestrian doors across the UK. Part of a well known multi-national group, the business continues to grow from strength to strength in the UK and internationally.
A strong order book and increasing demand for their diverse product range means they now need to recruit two Installation Engineers and an Installation Supervisor / Manager (role due to recent internal promotion).
Reporting to the Head of Installation, the Installation Engineers will join an existing team responsible for multiple automatic door product installations across the Greater London and Southeast Region. This includes greenfield sites and refurbishment of existing sites being repurposed or upgraded. The team manages multiple jobs across the week, ensuring all materials are in place and overseeing installation to full handover and acceptance. Key responsibilities include:
- Install automatic door systems and aluminium shopfronts at customer premises and active construction sites
- Work independently and as part of a team to deliver high-quality installations
- Carry out work safely, efficiently, and in line with industry standards and regulations
- Liaise daily with the Project Manager and Installation Planner to schedule work and ensure timely project completion
- Complete and submit all required paperwork accurately and promptly
- Travel from the nearest hub to sites across the surrounding areas, with occasional weekend working as required
- Contribute to ISO Business Management systems
- Ensure all work complies with relevant standards, including BS7036 / EN16005
- Maintain a professional and a customer-focused approach at all times
