Salary: up to £57k (depending on experience)

Working Hours: Flexibility required, including potential shift work, evenings, and weekends

Location: London, England, United Kingdom

Responsibilities

Lead cross-functional projects to enhance manufacturing performance

Develop and improve work instructions, tooling documentation, and inspection regimes

Investigate new processes and layouts to boost efficiency and compliance

Analyse production data and drive continuous improvement using Lean and statistical methods

Support equipment maintenance and optimise tooling master data in SAP

Conduct time and motion studies, workflow analysis, and capacity planning

Qualifications

HND or higher in a mechanical discipline with strong CAD experience (SolidWorks preferred)

3–5 years of experience in manufacturing engineering and project delivery

Proven skills in structured problem-solving (5 Whys, 8D), process improvement (DMAIC, OEE), and technical documentation

Strong understanding of metal component processing and surface finishing

Advanced IT skills including ERP/MRP systems and MS Office

Excellent communication and analytical skills

Additional requirements

Must have the right to live and work in the UK unrestricted

Mandatory training will be provided

Willingness to work flexibly and spend time in chemical-exposed environments
