Podiatrist
Community Specialist Podiatrist Come and join a great team and receive a £3500 recruitment incentive plus a relocation package of up to £8000 for doing so. We are looking for highly motivated individuals that are enthusiastic, forward-thinking and keen to develop their clinical skills. Applicants must have a degree in podiatry and be registered with the HCPC. This role will be working across all the Podiatry sites in Oxfordshire. Oxfordshire Podiatry services offer care to an increasingly interesting caseload with the emphasis of work focused on the care of the At Risk and High Risk foot, including wound/ulcer care. Nail surgery sessions are also a requirement for this post. The Recruitment incentive will be paid in 4 instalments over your first 18 months of employment with Oxford Health Trust and both packages are available to external applicants only. Main duties of the job The Podiatrist will manage a specialist community caseload, demonstrating skills in current assessment techniques (inc use of monofilaments, ABPI, Doppler etc), treating At Risk patients (inc. wound care), carrying out nail surgery and using evidence-based MSK skills to offload the At Risk Foot. Be able to identify the local need for podiatry services, evaluate priorities and deliver care accordingly, managing capacity and demand within contractual agreements. You will work in partnership with patients and other service users and communicate effectively to meet the need
