We are seeking a Full-Time SEN Teaching Assistant to join our dedicated team at a welcoming school in Rickmansworth. If you are passionate about supporting students with a range of learning needs and want to work in an inclusive environment, weandrsquo;d love to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the class teacher in delivering tailored support to students with special educational needs (SEN).
- Provide 1:1 or small group support for students to ensure they can access the curriculum.
- Support students in both the classroom and during activities, ensuring their safety and well-being.
- Help with the implementation of individual education plans (IEPs) and support students with a variety of learning styles.
- Monitor and record student progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents.
- Foster an inclusive environment that encourages independence and positive learning experiences for all students.
- Work collaboratively with the SENCO and teaching staff to ensure the best outcomes for all students.
The Ideal Candidate Will:
- Have experience working with children, ideally in a SEN or educational setting.
- Possess a passion for working with students with special educational needs and a commitment to improving their learning outcomes.
- Be patient, adaptable, and able to work effectively as part of a team.
- Have a positive and proactive approach to supporting students'' emotional and social development.
- Hold a Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent) andndash; desirable but not essential.
- Experience or knowledge of various learning difficulties such as autism, dyslexia, ADHD, etc. would be an advantage.
- Be confident in supporting students both in group settings and on a one-to-one basis.
