London, UK – 2 days per week OnsiteJob Description:Senior ServiceNow Developer role is responsible for configuring, developing and managing Cloud Governance Process on ServiceNow. Works closely with various stakeholders and Product owners within Global cloud services to understand business requirements and translate into technology solutions, ensuring customer expectations are met in a timely manner and aligned with technology standards.Responsibilities:Building technical solutions on ServiceNow platform based on project needs and process requirementsGood understanding of the overall architecture of ServiceNowTranslate business requirements into functional designPropose API based solutions focused on usability and automationExpert in working on Service Portal and custom app''sProvide technical insights on the capabilities and best practices of the ServiceNow platformHave some understanding of the "as is processes" and deliver toolset changes based on upcoming process changesExperience of end to end development activities for a specific enhancement or project as an individual contributorWork closely with BA''s, Architects, Platform and Testing team and process teamsAlign to product roadmap to ensure strategic alignmentIdentifying areas of process and tooling improvement and provide necessary solutionsWhat We''re looking for:Knowledge of web applications, networks, protocols and email (SMTP, POP3) and working knowledge of relational databasesExperience in Angular JS, HTML 5, CSS3 and BootstrapClient side and server-side scripting experienceExperience with Service Now Portal and Integration HubExperience with developing complex widgets and pages, client side and server-side scripting experienceExperience in developing complex workflows and complex flow designersExperience in writing reusable scriptsGood Experience in developing custom scoped applicationsExperience with complex reportingGood experience dealing with version upgradesLocal Job RequirementsAdherence to schedule and budget restrictions, as defined by stakeholders.Validating business requirements against business needs to define solution scopeAssessment of change requests that originate either internally (Business/IT) or externally (regulatory/compliance), such that schedule/budget/quality are not impacted.Negotiating a solution that meets the needs of multiple stakeholders with diverse opinions and contradictory requirements.Contribute to continuous improvements being made to standards and procedures to increase quality of project deliverables.Education:8+ years development experience with ServiceNowWell versed with class hierarchy, Update set hierarchy, data layer, flows, UI Action /policy, deployment, Integration, SOAP Service implementation in ServiceNowExperience working with Jira and ConfluenceExperience in working in an agile work environment, Scrum or SAFe frameworkServiceNow Certified Application DeveloperServiceNow Core Platform ArchitecturePreferred Skills:ServiceNow Service Portal and Integration HubKnowledge of UI and UX conceptsAbility to engage with stakeholders of relevant business areasKnowledge of agile tools (Jira/Azure Devops) for project management.Basic knowledge of any reporting tool for data analysis.Documentation skills which is useful to create any project documentation.Good knowledge of any document tools such as confluence, Visio, power point, word.Seniority level
