Mechanical Assembler

Location: Sunderland

Hours: 6.45am – 3pm and 3pm – 11pm weekly rotation

Salary: Up to £29,000 per annum DOE

What you will be doing:

• Refurbish and prepare service dies for production
• Conduct preventative maintenance on press tooling
• Maintain and improve current transfer fingers
• Assist in the development and manufacture of new model tooling
• Ensure accurate documentation of all work carried out

What you’ll bring to the team:

• An understanding of engineering principles
• Knowledge of press tooling functions
• Experience with fabrication (MIG welding, etc.)
• Confidence dismantling and rebuilding components using hand tools
