Tata TechnologiesOverviewTata Technologies is recruiting for an EDU Systems Engineer based at the customer site in Gaydon. The Embedded Systems Solutions department (ESS) encompasses ASPICE process activities including systems engineering, software engineering, coding, and all levels of functional testing. ESS also integrates project management, risk assessment, functional safety, and cybersecurity to ensure compliant, reliable, secure embedded systems and solutions.The RoleWe are seeking an EDU Systems Engineer to lead requirements activities for the EDU. The Powertrain Electrification team develops Hybrid and Electric propulsion systems, including high voltage vehicle components such as Battery Pack, eMotors, inverters, transmissions, DC-DC converters and on-board chargers.ResponsibilitiesDecompose EDU requirements to subcomponents (inverter, eMotor, gearbox, thermal system) and system requirements.Collaborate with inverter, eMotor and gearbox teams to integrate these into the EDU.Challenge ePT requirements and ensure robust EDU definition; work closely with the ePT system team.Lead FMEAs and contribute to PFMEAs with manufacturing.Support Functional Safety, Cybersecurity and EMC activities to ensure compliance.Acquire and evaluate competitor benchmark information to influence early concept creation.Develop and document best practices; lead the development of EDU system design manuals for Powertrain Electrification requirements.Management BreadthThis position requires managing one’s own time.
