Your new company
Our client, a high-profile main contractor based in the West Midlands area, is seeking a Project Manager to join their business. This established and multi-accredited organisation specialises in the delivery of wastewater treatment works directly for Severt Trent Water with sites in the West Midlands region. This is a temporary contract based out of their Birmingham office with site travel as and when required.

Your new role
As Project Manager, your responsibilities will include:

• Overseeing all aspects of project delivery from inception through to completion and handover
• Creating and maintaining project programmes as well as producing forecasts and procurement schedules
• Monitoring and reviewing financial and delivery performance
• Coordinating with subcontractors and the client regarding health and safety inspections and audits
• Liaising with delivery teams and coordinating site activities to ensure project programmes are maintained
• Ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget and to specified quality.

What you''ll need to succeed
In order to be successful, you must have:

• Proven successful experience managing projects from inception through to completion in the water (clean and/or waste) industry
• Working knowledge of NEC suite of contracts
• Strong leadership, interpersonal and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Full UK driving licence.
