Trainee Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Service Engineer (Apprentice)

Location:

Oxfordshire (must be based locally for daily engineer pick-ups)

Salary:

- Starting from £12.50 per hour depending on exp on a 40-hour working week.

About the Role:

My client is looking for a motivated and reliable Trainee Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Service Engineer to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start a career in the air conditioning and refrigeration industry — no prior experience or qualifications are required. Full on-the-job training will be provided with the client committed to helping the right candidate with support of their qualifications.

You will work alongside experienced engineers, learning all aspects of air conditioning and refrigeration servicing, maintenance, and installation.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist senior engineers with installation, servicing, and maintenance of air conditioning and refrigeration systems.
- Learn and develop practical and technical skills in PPM (Planned Preventative Maintenance).
- Ensure tools, equipment, and work areas are kept clean and safe.
- Follow health and safety procedures at all times.
- Attend any required training courses to support your development.

Requirements:

- Must be based in Oxfordshire for daily pick-ups.
- Willingness to learn and develop within the trade.
- Reliable, punctual, and a good team player.
