Maintenance Engineer | Ripley | Salary - -53,482
Cherry Professional are currently working with a market leading Engineering company. They are looking for a Maintenance Engineer to join their close knit and thriving team.

Working hours: 06.00-14.15, 14.00-22.15, 22.00 - 06.15.

Responsibilities:

• Diagnosing faults-with machinery
• Servicing and emergency repairs
• Carry out asset care plans and-PM schedules-across a range of machinery.
• Operating within a-CMMS system
• Plant, machinery, and services breakdowns, identifying root cause, and implementing the required mechanical and electrical asset care.
• Ensure all maintenance stock items are available within reason, monitor stock levels and manage orders
• Follow maintenance schedules and-carry out routine servicing-of machinery
• Ensure equipment runs efficiently and down times are minimised so that the plant runs to production plan and reliability is increased

Ideal Candidate:

• Time served (apprenticeship) mechanical biased maintenance engineer.
• Experience of working within a process-oriented environment
• Fault finding and root cause analysis experience.
• A pro-active approach and mindset to contribute within a continuous improvement culture.
• 4 years of Practical working experience in manufacturing
• Core mechanical competencies
• Welding
• Machine shop
• Be able to work flexibly from time to time, as required to suit the business needs.
• Experience of using IT packages such as Microsoft and CMMS (computerised maintenance management system)
