My client, a leading consultancy in the UK, is looking for an experienced and motivated

Senior / Principal / Associate Bridges Engineer .This is an exciting opportunity to enhance a growing bridge capability, work with high-profile clients, and contribute to complex and impactful infrastructure projects.About the RoleYou will be responsible for leading bridge projects, from initial option studies to detailed design, and mentoring junior engineers. You will have the opportunity to shape the future of the bridges team while delivering innovative and high-quality solutions.Key ResponsibilitiesLead bridge design, including preliminary studies, cost estimates, and detailed design.Undertake bridge inspections and structural assessments.Perform design or assessment checking processes.Prepare analytical models, perform calculations, and generate reports.Supervise and mentor junior engineers and CAD/BIM technicians.Conduct site visits as required.About YouDegree qualified in Civil Engineering (BEng/MEng, MSc, or equivalent).Chartered Engineer (CEng ICE or IStructE) or approaching Chartered status.Committed to contributing to the growth and development of the bridges team.Applicants must be eligible to work in the UK.Skills and ExperienceKnowledge of highway structures design standards (e.g., DMRB, MCDHW).Experience preparing Technical Approval documents.Familiarity with Eurocodes and design of steel, reinforced, and prestressed concrete bridges.Proficiency in analysis and design software such as Midas, LUSAS, or Autodesk SBD.Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.Why Join?Work on diverse and challenging infrastructure projects.Competitive salary and benefits.Collaborative and supportive work environment.Opportunities for professional growth and career advancement.If you''d like to join the mission of building one of the leading bridge engineering teams in the UK, get in touch!hello@navwalkerta.comSeniority level
