This role is critical to the efficient and safe running of night operations and requires strong leadership, a hands-on approach, and a commitment to continuous improvement.The successful candidate will support the Nightshift Manager in overseeing production, ensuring health and safety standards are met, and deputising when required. You will help drive operational performance, support staff development, and ensure smooth transitions across all production stages.Key Objectives: Uphold and enforce Health and Safety standards throughout all areas of production. Support the delivery of performance targets across all stages of production. Act as Deputy to the Nightshift Manager during their absence.Responsibilities:Health and Safety and People Management: Record and report near misses, unsafe acts, and unsafe conditions. Ensure strict adherence to Health and Safety procedures across all departments. Conduct disciplinary investigations and hearings where required. Support onboarding of new starters in collaboration with the nightshift training mentor. Perform regular performance reviews and one-to-one meetings.
