About the Role:
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and dedicated Religious Education Teacher to join a dynamic secondary school in Milton Keynes. The successful candidate will be passionate about teaching RE across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5, and committed to fostering a positive learning environment where students are encouraged to explore and develop their understanding of religion, philosophy, and ethics.

Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging and thought-provoking RE lessons in line with the national curriculum
 - Foster a respectful, inclusive classroom environment that encourages critical thinking and discussion around various religious beliefs and practices
 - Assess, monitor, and report on student progress, providing constructive feedback and support for improvement
 - Differentiate teaching approaches to accommodate diverse learning needs, ensuring all students are challenged and supported
 - Collaborate with colleagues to create cross-curricular links and enhance the overall educational experience
 - Participate in school events, staff meetings, and continuous professional development activities
 - Uphold the schoolandrsquo;s safeguarding policies, ensuring the safety and well-being of all students

Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification
 - A degree in Religious Education, Theology, Philosophy, or a related subject
 - Experience teaching RE at secondary school level, ideally up to A-Level
 - Strong communication and organisational skills
 - A commitment to promoting tolerance, understanding, and diversity within the classroom

Desirable:
- Previous experience working in a similar role
 - A passion for engaging students in ethical debates and contemporary religious issues
 - Experience working with SEN students and adapting lessons to meet their needs
