About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to support pupils with Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD) in a welcoming and inclusive school environment in Burnham. This role involves working closely with teachers and SEN staff to provide tailored support that helps students achieve their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in delivering differentiated lessons and activities for pupils with MLD.
- Provide one-to-one and small group support to reinforce learning objectives.
- Help manage classroom behaviour and create a positive learning environment.
- Support pupilsandrsquo; social and emotional development alongside academic progress.
- Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCO, and other professionals to implement individual education plans (IEPs).
Requirements:
- Experience working with children with MLD or other special educational needs (SEN) is desirable.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, empathy, and a proactive approach to supporting learning.
- Ability to adapt to different learning styles and needs.
- Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
