Overview

Bank MSK Physiotherapist role at Bupa. Ad hoc bank/temporary role to cover absences (sickness and annual leave) and busy periods. This role covers MSK outpatients. You will be an autonomous physiotherapist delivering client-centred, evidence-based assessment and treatment to adults and, very occasionally, older teenagers with varied and often complex MSK needs.Job location: Cromwell Hospital, London, SW5 0TU. The role is part-time with an hourly rate that is competitive.Responsibilities

Be responsible for the physiotherapy management of the patient load assigned, practising as an accountable professional using reflective practice and clinical reasoning to provide individualised treatment programmes.Obtain informed, valid consent and involve patients in their own healthcare plan; educate to support ongoing management.Provide programmes of care for MSK patients through assessment and implementation of specialist MSK treatments to maximise rehabilitation outcomes.Advocate for patients within the multi-disciplinary team.Provide information, education and support for patients and carers.Comply with confidentiality policies as set out by Cromwell Hospital, HCPC and the CSP.Live the Bupa values of being Brave, Caring and Responsible.Key Skills/Qualifications

Degree in PhysiotherapyHCPC RegistrationProven experience and competence in MSK conditions of varying nature; ability to work unsupervisedCommitment to multi-disciplinary teamworkEvidence of CPDUK healthcare experienceProficient in PC use and relevant software/systemsGood communication and strong interpersonal skills; effective telephone mannerAbility to work on own initiative, prioritise work and meet deadlinesGood timekeeping and flexibilityJob Details
