Lead the delivery of complex

aerospace engineering projects , ensuring cost, schedule, and quality targets are met.Manage and develop a team of engineers, providing

coaching, mentoring, and performance management .Create and maintain project plans, budgets, and resource forecasts in line with business objectives.Drive stakeholder engagement with engineering teams, leadership, and external partners.Ensure projects comply with

aerospace standards, governance, and regulatory requirements .Identify risks, implement mitigation strategies, and maintain progress reporting to senior stakeholders.Qualifications

Required Skills and Experience

Proven experience in

people management

within engineering (leading teams, resource allocation, staff development).Strong track record in

project management

of aerospace or defence programmes.Knowledge of

engineering lifecycle management , from requirements through to delivery.Proficiency with project management tools (e.g.

MS Project, Primavera

or similar).Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.Required Qualifications

Degree in

Engineering, Project Management, or a related discipline .OR Recognised project management qualification (e.g.

APM, PMP, PRINCE2 )Useful/Nice-to-Have Skills

Experience with

aerospace modification, MRO (Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul), or defence projects .Knowledge of risk management frameworks and earned value management (EVM).Additional Information
