Cybersecurity Engineer - London (Hybrid working) - £80K + Benefits Role Overview We re seeking an experienced Cybersecurity Engineer to help protect critical systems and data from evolving cyber threats. As part of the Security Operations function, you''ll design, implement and manage security controls, respond to incidents and drive continuous improvement in cyber risk management. This is a hands-on role combining technical expertise, threat awareness and collaboration across IT teams to maintain a strong security posture. Key Responsibilities Security Engineering andamp; Operations Design, implement and monitor security controls across systems and networks Configure, maintain and troubleshoot security tools (eg Firewalls, IDS, endpoint security) Develop solutions to address vulnerabilities and automate security processes Monitor security alerts and investigate suspicious activity Threat andamp; Incident Management Respond to and investigate security incidents, including forensic analysis Monitor threat intelligence and assess emerging risks Conduct vulnerability assessments and risk analysis Lead or support remediation of identified security issues Governance andamp; Risk Support risk assessments and implement mitigation plans Ensure adherence to security standards, policies and best practices Produce clear documentation, reports and recommendations Assist with audits, controls testing and compliance activities Collaboration andamp; Improvement Work closely with IT
