Up to £53,200 pro-rata (DOE

Please note- basic grade OT offers from £33,000+, Specialist from £39,500+ and Highly specialist from £48,000+*

Hours:

37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, hours to overlap with core school hours (Part time hours may be considered)

Contract:

Permanent (Term time only, or flexibility around full-time contract can be discussed based on your personal circumstances)

The Role

You’ll play a pivotal role in assessing and supporting pupils who are neurodivergent or have experienced developmental trauma. Your work will be guided by the OFG Occupational Therapy Ways of Working, ensuring clarity of expectations and adherence to professional standards.

As Part Of Your Role, You Will

Hold a clinical caseload with support from your site’s Lead TherapistDeliver individualised interventions and support staff with strategiesContribute to whole-school planning, training, and development initiatives

Essential

What we’re looking for:

Degree in Occupational TherapyHCPC registration and RCOT membershipExperience in settings supporting neurodivergent individuals or those with SEMH needsStrong understanding of OT theory and practiceExcellent communication, clinical reasoning and team collaboration skillsExperience working with families, carers and across multidisciplinary teamsSound knowledge of neurodevelopment, trauma-informed practice and sensory integration

Desirable

3+ years post-qualification experiencePostgraduate training in Sensory Integration and/or developmental traumaExperience supporting students or therapy assistants
