We are recruiting a dedicated SENCO to join a thriving secondary school in Southeast London, supporting an inclusive learning environment and ensuring the highest outcomes for students with SEND.You''ll work alongside a strong leadership team and SEN department, committed to delivering quality first teaching and targeted interventions that enable all learners to succeed.About the RoleThis is a leadership position with responsibility for:Ensuring compliance with the SEND Code of Practice (2014)Leading the implementation of the school''s SEND policyAccurately identifying and assessing SEND needsDeveloping and embedding inclusive teaching strategiesDelivering high-quality CPD to teaching staffMonitoring and tracking the progress of students with SENDLeading the SEND provision and maintaining the SEND profileLiaising with stakeholders, including parents, governors, and external agenciesWhat We''re Looking ForQTS and a relevant undergraduate degree preferredNational SENCO Award (or willingness to complete training)Proven experience in a secondary school SENCO or inclusion roleStrong understanding of national curriculum priorities and SEND legislationExperience delivering staff training and leading on inclusionA commitment
