Overview

What you doThis role reports to the Head of Planning and Controlling of the Health LoB and will focus on the automation and process improvement of financial reporting and analysis activities. In this role, you''ll play a key part in modernizing how we work - through streamlining workflows, enhancing reporting, and driving smarter decision-making with data.Responsibilities

Evaluate existing financial reporting processes to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement to enhance the quality, accuracy and timeliness of deliveryDesign and implement automated solutions with the use of macros, scripts, or other digital toolsProvide training and support to team members on new automation tools and processesCollaborate with the wider planning and controlling team and business leaders to understand financial reporting and analysis needs and current gaps/ pain pointsDevelop new reporting and interactive dashboards using Power BI and Excel (including Power Query and advanced formulas) to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement to support business leaders with decision makingPrepare and deliver data-driven insights that support strategic decisionsMonitor and evaluate the effectiveness of implemented improvements and iterate as neededQualifications

Bachelor\''s degree in finance/ business/ economics or related subjects (e.g. applied mathematics)5+ years in a financial, actuarial, or analytical roleExpert in Microsoft Excel (PivotTables, Power Query, advanced formulas, macros)Proficient with Power BI (data modeling, DAX, visualization)Familiarity with automation tools (e.g., VBA, Python, RPA tools) is a strong plusStrong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively within a team environment and to collaborate effectively across departmentsMotivated self-starter with ability to take ownership of tasks and deliver results within agreed deadlinesAn analytical and inquisitive nature with ability to deliver results to a high standard of accuracy with particular attention to detailExcellent command of English language (oral and written)What we offer
