Principal Enforcement Officer Location: The Council House, CV9 1DE Start Date: ASAP Contract Duration: 3+ Months Working Hours: Mon Fri, 09 00, 37 Hours per week Pay Rate: £ 23.17 per hour Job Ref: (phone number removed) Responsibilities Conduct thorough investigations and enforcement actions related to planning control. Develop and maintain strong working relationships with Councillors, officers, statutory consultees, customers, and local residents. Negotiate alterations to development proposals to ensure compliance with planning regulations. Produce clear and concise written and verbal reports for various stakeholders. Manage and resolve conflicts and difficult situations effectively. Person Specification High standard of communication skills, including investigative techniques. Ability to influence a wide range of individuals and groups. Access to transport for use at work and possession of a full, valid driving licence. Professional Planning Qualification, or working towards such a qualification. Sound experience in a planning control environment, with a strong understanding of planning control, including appeal work.
