We are recruiting for  Multi Trade Operatives to support our Sovereign Disrepair Direct contract, working in partnership within the social housing sector.

In this role, you’ll deliver disrepair works and reactive maintenance across a large portfolio of occupied homes, ensuring residents live in safe, compliant and well-maintained environments. This includes resolving damp and mould issues, completing multi-trade repairs, and delivering high-quality remedial works. You’ll be supported by modern digital systems to manage workloads efficiently and maintain excellent service standards.

We are looking for operatives based in or able to cover London and Hertfordshire.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out plastering to a high standard, NVQ Level 2 required
• Undertake plumbing repairs and minor installations (desirable)
• Perform carpentry duties including repairs and basic joinery (desirable)
• Support with a broad range of general property maintenance duties
• Isolate and make safe electrical items, such as electric showers (full repair or installation requires Part?P-qualified personnel)
• Work effectively both independently and within a team
• Ensure all work meets safety, quality and customer service standards

Essential Skills & Experience

• Strong plastering skills, ideally NVQ Level 2
• Working knowledge of plumbing and carpentry
• Ability to diagnose faults and deliver effective repairs
• Good problem-solving skills and strong attention to detail
• Experience working in tenanted properties
• Familiar with PDA usage
• Exposure to electrical works awareness (isolating appliances safely, not full installation)

Additional Requirements

• NVQ or City & Guilds Level 2 minimum
• Clean, valid UK driving licence
• DBS check (or willingness to undertake)
• Eligible to work in the UK (proof required)
• Professional, customer-focused presentation
