The Best Connection Chesterfield are currently recruiting for a number of Class 1 HGV Drivers for one of our clients based in the Worksop area. We are looking for Evening/Night shift drivers for Sunday to Thursday.

As Class 1 HGV Driver you will be working over Sunday to Thursday. You will be trunking from Depot to Depot and some stores deliveries. Minimal handball involved, if any.

Available shifts:

• Nights - -21.58 (between 2am and 6am, -18.04-18.38 outside of these hours)

Key responsibilities:

• Delivering Depot to Depot.
• Following daily delivery schedules.
• Perform daily vehicle checks to ensure road-worthiness.
• Ensure safe and compliant driving in accordance with UK road laws and regulations.
• Communicate effectively with the transport team regarding any issues or delays.

Requirements:

• Valid Class 1 (Cat C+E) licence
• Up-to-date CPC and Digi Tacho card.
• Excellent time keeping and communication skills.
• Must have held licence and had at least 2 years Class 1 driving experience.
• Start times are from 3pm onwards until 10pm
