Opus People Solutions on behalf of Milton Keynes City Council is currently seeking an experienced Senior Social Worker to join their Children in Care team.The RoleThis is a dynamic role involving a mix of court work and child protection, where you will play a key part in safeguarding children and supporting positive outcomes.Key responsibilities include:Managing a caseload involving Child Protection and Children in Care (LAC)Undertaking court work, including Public Law Outline (PLO) processesPreparing and presenting court statements and reportsParticipating in a duty rotaConducting Child Protection (CP) and LAC visitsWorking ArrangementsBased at Civic Offices, Milton KeynesHybrid working: 3 days in the office, 1 day working from home (subject to service needs)37 hours per weekRequirementsQualified Social Worker with Social Worker Englands registrationStrong experience in court work and child protectionExperience within a Children in Care settingAbility to manage a busy and varied caseload effectivelyIf you thrive to make a difference and have 3 years Social worker experience and this is the role for you, then we would love to hear from you.
