The Opportunity

An outstanding opportunity has arisen for a passionate and talented Drama Teacher to join a leading independent all-girls’ school in Gloucester. Role Overview

We are seeking an enthusiastic and imaginative Drama Teacher to deliver exceptional lessons across Key Stages 3 to 5. The ideal candidate will inspire a love of theatre and performance, helping students to grow in confidence and creativity. The role also includes contributing to a thriving programme of school productions, drama clubs, and wider co-curricular opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Teach dynamic and engaging Drama lessons from KS3 to KS5 in line with the school’s high standards

  • Direct and support school productions and showcase performances

  • Encourage student participation in local and national drama opportunities and festivals

  • Monitor student progress, offering constructive feedback and tailored support

  • Work collaboratively within the Arts Department to enhance the creative curriculum

  • Promote the values of confidence, self-expression, and collaboration

What We’re Looking For

  • A degree in Drama or a related discipline

  • QTS or equivalent recognised teaching qualification

  • Experience teaching Drama up to KS5 (applications from ECTs are welcome)

  • A deep passion for the performing arts and inspiring girls through creative education

  • Strong interpersonal and classroom management skills, with the ability to motivate and engage

  • A collaborative, forward-thinking mindset in line with the school’s values
