Position: Assistant Support Worker
Location: Tring, Hertfordshire
Salary: -24,570 per annum
Hours: Full-time (37.5 hours per week)

Join our caring team at Westcroft, a vibrant supported living service supporting adults with learning disabilities across three main buildings and several community homes. We work together to create an inclusive, respectful environment where each person feels understood, supported and empowered to live as independently as possible.

The Role

As an Assistant Support Worker, you will:

• Support with medication and provide personal care with dignity and compassion
• Encourage life skills such as cooking, cleaning, shopping and budgeting
• Organise trips and community activities
• Follow personalised support plans and risk assessments
• Build positive relationships that help individuals achieve their personal goals
• Support people in their own homes or supported settings, sometimes independently

About You

You are caring, reliable and proactive, with a genuine desire to help others thrive. You communicate well, adapt to individual needs, and value teamwork and collaboration.

A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle are essential, along with completing at least one sleep-in per week. Shifts include weekends and bank holidays.

For sleep-ins you will receive an enhanced flat rate payment of -52.78.
