QA Site Engineer
Location: HS2 Calvert North, Buckinghamshire
Rate: -470 per day (Inside IR35)
Contract: 6-Month Rolling Contract

About The Role:

• Manage and oversee quality assurance processes across earthworks and drainage works
• Conduct inspections, complete quality records, check sheets, and ITPs in line with project specifications
• Ensure works comply with HS2 standards, drawings, and quality requirements
• Carry out site audits, identify non-conformances, and manage NCRs to resolution
• Collaborate with site teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders to uphold quality standards

About You:

• Proven experience as a Site Engineer or QA Engineer on civil/infrastructure projects
• Strong expertise in earthworks and drainage construction
• Hands-on site delivery knowledge gained working directly for contractors
• Familiar with quality assurance procedures, ITPs, and NCR management
• Relevant Civil Engineering qualification; CSCS card holder

Nice to Have Skills:

• Previous HS2 project experience
• Knowledge of digital quality management systems like Novade
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications
• Excellent communication and organisational skills

• Valid CSCS Card
