Senior Temporary Works Design Engineer (Permanent)

We are looking for a
Senior TW Design Engineer
to join our team.
Role and Responsibilities:Assist in the development of permanent works civil and structural design from RIBA stage 3/4, through to construction and handover.Support site delivery teams with assessment of structures in the temporary condition, including temporary works design.Complete CDP elements such as precast conversion, reinforcement detailing, waterproofing, and PT design (existing experience desirable but not essential).Perform structural analysis to support conversion design, from traditional RC to PT/precast concrete.Complete major and minor temporary works items to support the construction phase, including basement propping schemes, back propping, construction loading assessments, capping beam design, tower crane base design, piling mat design, and core stability checks for slip form.Ensure timely and accurate completion of drawings to meet project requirements.Use AutoCAD/Revit efficiently to produce high-quality drawings.Communicate effectively with team members and external designers.Liaise with third parties (clients, external designers, subcontractors, NR, NHBC) for timely approval of design items.Conduct periodic site inspections to assist the site team and verify correct installation of structures.Assist in future product development and document control.Participate in project temporary works planning.Qualifications and Skills:Motivated individual seeking a challenging career in construction.Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and Microsoft Office.Experience with Autodesk Robot or other FEM software.Experience in structural and temporary works design is desirable; competence in one area is acceptable, with willingness to develop in both.Experience with RC and steel design.Knowledge of concrete frame construction methods and design.Ability to read structural drawings.Strong communication and organizational skills.Fluent English language skills.Knowledge of Asta Power Project is a plus but not essential.Additional Information:Location: London Bridge, with negotiable remote working.Working hours: 9 am to 5:30 pm, Monday to Friday.Role type: PAYE, paid monthly.Travel: Negotiable.Benefits include Death in Service (3x salary), Private Medical Insurance (including pre-existing conditions), Benefit Portal discounts, and Pension Scheme.This job posting appears active and not expired.#J-18808-Ljbffr
