1st/2nd Line Desktop Helpdesk Support Contract City based Global client. WFH/Office blend £200.00 per day inside IR35 Possible Contract to Perm scenario. Excellent communication and customer service skills essential A solid stable previous work history essential Microsoft Client OS (10-11) and basic knowledge of Server OS () A knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory A knowledge of networks (preferable Cisco CCNA level - Network +) Duties: a) Providing remote technical support via Internet or phone. b) Maintaining operating systems by repairing hardware and configuring software. c) Prepare laptops/desktops for users using company deploying tools (ex.WDS) d) Configure and personalize operating systems for final users e) Reviewing new and updated tickets. f) Scheduling repairs/updates for internal users needing IT help. g) Updating and completing resolved tickets. h) Manage desktop/laptops life cycle (Asset management from buying to disposal) i) Replying to direct messages and emails from internal users (co-workers). j) Performing routine system checks, maintenance, and updates on client OS k) Interface with other infrastructure colleagues to escalate problems, share knowledge.
