Workshop Engineer

Professional Technical is currently looking for a Workshop Engineer for a brand new role based in Northampton. This role is perfect for Forklift Engineers, Vehicle Technicians or Plant Engineers who are looking for an on-site role. This day shifts from Monday to Friday, 8 am until 4.30 pm, providing a great work-life balance and a salary of 35k, which rises after 2 months. Responsibilities of the Workshop Engineer: Servicing and repairing material handling equipment.Ensure all paperwork is completed accurately and within the appropriate time periodWork as a team and as an individualMaintain a safe working environment and work in a safe mannerReport any unsafe practices and potential hazards directly to the Service ManagerTo adhere to policies and procedures. Requirements of the Workshop Engineer: Experience in Vehicle Maintenance, Plant, or Forklift TrucksSkilled in the service and repair of vehiclesWorkshop Engineers, Workshop Technicians, Vehicle Technicians, Master Technicians, Mechanics, Plant Fitters, Roadside Recovery, Agricultural Engineers, and FLT Engineers are all consideredTechnical experience in Engines, Electrics, and Diagnostics is compulsory.
